The final of the Star Wine List of the Year UK with The Buyer will take place at The Winemakers’ Club in London on March 4. Here’s who will be competing for the prizes.
To be a finalist in the Star Wine List of the Year UK with The Buyer is really an achievement in itself. It means your list, and the dedication given to your wine offer is amongst the top five to 10 restaurants in the country in each of the specific categories.
The awards have over the last four years also demonstrated which venues are consistently the best in terms of putting wine first and having the teams and sommeliers to serve their customers with the best wines for those venues.
The Jury
The jury is made of leading sommeliers from around the world
What makes the Star Wine List competitions stand out is the fact they are judged by leading sommeliers around the world, independent of the venues in the competition, and with the respect and reputation to judge each list on their merit. The jury of the 2024 UK awards is again a compilation of talent drawn from around the world.

Categories and criteria
The Star Wine List of the Year with The Buyer has grown over its four years to include a number of new categories and which are now a balance between the international categories that feature in all the Star Wine List events around the world, and the ones that are for the UK alone. Our thanks go to all the drinks partners that have supported the event as individual category sponsors.
Each of the sponsors will also be taking part in the awards ceremony in London on March 4 where they will have the chance to share and pour their wines to all the finalists and special invited guests.
