Top Selection was launched in 2000 by Ákos and Michelle Forczek when they signed their first exclusive distribution agreement with Hungarian maestro, István Szepsy. Over the next 24 years their drive and entrepreneurial spirit has seen the business grow to be recognised as one of the country’s most admired family-owned, independent importers and distributors of premium wines and spirits in the UK.

Szepsy is just one of the producers who have been with Top Selection for over 20 years, and the team now works with over 100 family-owned and boutique producers from 21 countries.

Top Selection is dedicated to working with passionate producers who are the driving forces of their respective regions, and along the way there have been many milestones, from becoming the exclusive distributor of Egon Müller in 2006 to being named UK Fine Wine Merchant of the Year by the SWA for three consecutive years from 2018-2020.

Working with some of the leading restaurants and hotels across the UK, it supplies premium wines and spirits to a wide range of clients from small independent bistros, through to fine dining restaurants and luxury hotel groups.

Its portfolio is well suited to wine merchants and independent retailers looking to offer high-quality, authentic wines that have a real point of difference to high street brands. It also supplies wines for corporate and private clients.
